Mistake of failed freelancers:
As mentioned earlier, freelancing is getting massive popularity in masses bringing more and more people under the umbrella of freelancing. There are predictions that number of freelancers will exceed as compared to traditional jobs in USA. However this is only one sided and rosy picture of freelancing. Doing online work while sitting in home and earning handsome amount is portrayed as walk in the park which is not true. Freelancing needs great deal of dedication and patience.
There are several factors and mistake that lead to failure in freelancing but one biggest mistake that every failed freelancer has committed is being inconsistent. Inconsistency here means continuous switching from one service to other. One day they see a successful freelancer and try to copy him. After couple of days they see another freelancer who is earning handsome amount and switch the field to become like him. This is the first and biggest mistake that every failed freelancer has done in their career. This habit of switching between different skills make them jackal of all trades but master of none while freelancing demands a specialist for each job. There few other factors which will be discussed in another post, however, biggest one is continuous changing of working field to copy other freelancers. Nearly 99 percent of failed freelancers are the victim of this mistake.
